Follow these steps to get your new Samsung A32 5G ready for use within our organization:

 

1. Start Your Device

    • Turn on your device and select 'Start' at the Welcome screen.

     

    2. Accept Terms

      • At the 'For your review' screen, select 'Agree to all' and then 'Agree' to proceed.

       

      3. Connect to Mobile Data

        • Select 'Continue' to use mobile data.

         

        4. Device Enrollment

          • The device will update Knox Enrollment and check a few details. When prompted that 'This device belongs to your organization,' select 'Next.'
          • The device will enroll and load updates. This process may take a few minutes.

           

          5. Username Entry

            • At the 'Username' screen, enter your MADEC computer login username (do not use your email address) and select 'Next.'

             

            6. Password Entry

              • Enter your MADEC password and select 'Sign In.'

               

              7. Initial Setup

                • On the 'Set up your phone' screen, touch 'Accept & continue.'
                • At the prompt 'This device isn’t private,' touch 'Next.'

                 

                8. Knox License Activation

                  • Touch 'Agree' to activate the Knox license.

                   

                  9. Update Passcode

                    • Touch 'Update Device passcode', choose 'PIN,' and set a 4-digit PIN (this will be your screen unlock code).
                    • When you return to the 'Notifications' screen, touch 'Done' at the bottom.

                     

                    10. Skip Accessibility Features

                      • On the 'Always accessible' screen, touch 'SKIP.'

                       

                      11. Device is Ready

                        • Touch 'Done' on the 'Your device is ready to go' screen.

                         

                        12. Finalizing Setup

                          • Allow the phone to sit for about 15 minutes. It will download and install pre-configured apps.

                           

                          13. Email Setup

                            • Once all apps are installed, your pre-configured email app will be Boxer. If you encounter any issues, please contact IT Support at 03 5025 4099 and leave a message.
