Follow these steps to configure your Samsung A21:

 

1. Start Your Device

    • Turn on your device and select 'Start' at the Welcome screen.

     

    2. Accept Terms

      • At the 'For your review' screen, scroll to the bottom, select 'Agree to all,' and then touch 'Agree.'

       

      3. Permissions for Samsung Apps

        • Scroll to the bottom of the permissions list and touch 'Agree.'

         

        4. Connect to Mobile Data

          • Touch 'Continue' to use mobile data.

           

          5. Device Enrollment

            • The device will update Knox Enrollment and check a few details. When prompted that 'This device belongs to your organization,' select 'Next.'
            • The device will enroll and load updates. This process may take a few minutes.

             

            6. Username Entry

              • At the 'Username' screen, enter your MADEC computer login username (do not use your email address) and hit 'Next.'

               

              7. Password Entry

                • Enter your MADEC password and touch 'Sign In.'

                 

                8. Initial Setup

                  • On the 'Set up your phone' screen, touch 'Continue.'
                  • At the prompt 'This device isn’t private,' touch 'Next.'

                   

                  9. Knox License Activation

                    • Touch 'Agree' to activate the Knox license.

                     

                    10. Update Passcode

                      • Touch 'Update Device Passcode,' choose 'PIN,' and set a 4-digit PIN (this will be your screen unlock code).
                      • When you return to the 'Notifications' screen, touch 'Done' at the bottom.

                       

                      11. Skip Accessibility Features

                        • On the 'Always accessible' screen, touch 'SKIP.'

                         

                        12. Finalizing Setup

                          • Allow the phone to sit while it downloads and installs pre-configured apps.

                           

                          13. Email Setup

                            • Once all apps are installed, your pre-configured email app will be Boxer. If you encounter any issues, please contact IT Support at 03 5025 4099 and leave a message.
