There are 3 ways to forward calls from your desk phone to another destination:
- Always - All calls will be forwarded immediately without ringing on the desk phone.
- No Answer - If the phone is not answered after a configured number of rings, the call will be forwarded.
- Busy - Instead of going to Voicemail, calls will be forwarded if the desk phone is currently on a call.
The procedure is the same for all models of deskphone. Where you have a touchscreen, simply touch the option. Where you have buttons around the screen, use the appropriate "soft button" and the round navigation buttons to move about.
- From either the default screen or the Home screen (by pressing the Home/House button), select Forward.
- Choose which option you want to enable.
- Enter the phone number you want to forward TO in the "Contact" field. This can be a mobile, a landline or an internal extension number (40xx or 50xx)
- If configuring the "No Answer" option, also enter the number of rings after which you want calls to be forwarded.
- Finally. Select "Enable" at the bottom of the screen.
You can view the status of Forwarding by coming back to this menu. Each option will have Enabled or Disabled in brackets.
To disable an option, you follow the same process as above but select Disable at step 5.
