Following these instructions, you will be able to change the password used to sign in to Telstra Business Connect (TBC) and make calls from your PC/Laptop/mobile device.


  1. Open Telstra Business Connect and sign in using the default password provided to you. Your username will be [email protected] (substitute the first 10 digits with your desk phone number if you have one).
  2. Click on the Cog icon in the bottom right hand corner, and open the General settings from the menu
  3. Click the slide button for "Update password"
  4. In the "Current password" field, enter the default/current password you used to sign into TBC
  5. In the "New password" field, enter your new password. It must be at least 7 characters long and contain 1 symbol, 1 Upper case, 1 lower case, and 1 number. It must also be different to any previous password used with TBC
  6. in the "Verify new password" field, enter your new password again.
  7. Press the "Enter" key on your keyboard. If successful, very little will happen, you can then return to the dial pad or contacts page. Any errors will show in red.
  8. Next time you login to TBC, use the new password you have just set.
